Train Fares

Try the Journey Planner to see how much your journey will cost and which type of ticket is the best deal for you. For example if you travel from Ellerslie Station to Britomart Station 4 days per week, a 10-ride ticket or monthly pass will be the better deal than a single ride ticket.

Below you'll find fares for Auckland's train operator, Veolia Transport Auckland.
Tickets can be purchased on the train, however for travel from Britomart, Newmarket or Papakura it is recommended that you buy your ticket before you board at the station ticket offices.

For information on discounted travel, please see Fare Policies for Discounted Travel.
